Worship at Beech Street...a way of life!

Our goal in worship is to acknowledge our Holy God as Sovereign in our lives, to glorify Him, and to celebrate His presence. We respond to His revelation of Himself and go into our community and our world to live in such as way as to draw attention to Who He is and to what He has done for us. We profess that worship is not just an event, it is a way of life! Join us - there's a place for YOU!

Who may participate in worship services at Beech Street?
Everyone present is a participant! We have no spectators; God is our audience.

What about worship leadership?
Worship leadership at Beech Street is under the guidance of our pastor and our Minister of Music. The main leadership organization is the Beech Street Choir and Orchestra, but we also have other groups and individuals who lead worship, such as our youth choir, children's choirs, ensembles, soloists, drama groups, puppet teams, and signing teams (to name a few). We expect all persons wishing to be a leader in worship to be an active member of one or more of these organizations. The main purpose of this policy is to ensure that all who lead in worship are of like mind, spirit, and theology. It is vital that we work as a team and strive to be "on the same page" when it comes to worship. We accomplish this by working, learning, and rehearsing together in our choirs or other major groups. 

Occasionally, guests are invited to lead worship. Those wishing to do so must be approved by the pastor and/or minister of music.
