5. MUSIC MINISTRY:

ADULT CHOIR - Our church’s main music leadership team helps our church family come together in worship.

  CHILDREN'S CHOIR - Children age four through grade six enjoy learning about their part in worship through music and other special activities. 

  THE JOYTIME SINGERS - Beech Street’s senior adult choir sings for occasional services and ministries in various locations around our city, such as nursing and retirement homes.

  INSTRUMENTAL - Keyboards, orchestral instruments, and handbells are some of the opportunities for musical involvement here at Beech Street.

  MUSIC MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS - Needed to help with an assortment of tasks on an occasional basis. No special abilities necessary! If you can breathe, you can help.

  WORSHIP MEDIA - Important worship leaders who sit at a computer operating the projection system for each worship service. 

6. SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRIES - Our church organized to work, teach, and reach out.

7. RECREATION - Plans, conducts, and evaluates a coordinated activities program for all ages in the church.

8. CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES:

  AWANA - Encourages memorization, understanding, and application of scripture using simple yet effective incentives.

  CHILDREN'S WORSHIP - A worship time just for children during the 10:20 a.m. worship service. Lessons, songs, and activities are designed for children ages four through second grade.

  EXTENDED SESSION - Provides nursery care during the 10:20 worship time for babies through three year-olds.

  FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL - Beech Street's Fall Festival offers our community a safe alternative to secular Halloween trick-or-treating. 

  PRESCHOOL MINISTRY - Guides the preschool activities of our church, including procurement and distribution of supplies, scheduling workers and providing nourishing curriculum.

  VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - A week-long intense Bible study for children age three through sixth grade; a valuable means of inviting other children to our church and introducing them to Jesus.

9. GREETERS AND USHERS - Helps welcome our members and guests into a friendly and worshipful experience.

10. EMERGENCY RESPONSE - A support team to help our congregation respond to various types of emergencies.

11. DECORATION - A year-long opportunity to "deck our halls" with appropriate seasonal decorations.

12. WILSON HOUSE - Assists and supports the organizations of Beech Street and the community for leisure time with high Christian standards in a historical landmark.

13. SINGLES - Provides a variety of activities and classes where single adults can meet, mingle, and support other Christian singles.

14. SECURITY - Maintains security both inside and outside the building during our regular worship and program activities.

15. HOMEBOUND - Visits and assists those unable to attend our church activities due to age or health concerns.

16. BAPTISM/LORD’S SUPPER - Assists the pastor in preparing and supporting baptism candidates.  Also procures and prepares the elements (bread and juice) for the Lord's Supper.

17. TRACT MINISTRY - Provides tracts with the complete gospel so the members of our church can reach out to others.

18. HISTORICAL - Maintains church historical and archival records, including minutes of church conferences.

19. LIBRARY - A resource for materials dealing with Biblical research and studies, entertainment, casual and educational reading.

20. SENIOR ADULTS/T.A.N.G - Active senior adults are a stabilizing factor, supporting the congregation with their wisdom, knowledge, years of service and belief in God.

21. WOMEN'S MISSIONARY UNION (WMU) - Christian women dedicated to the support and advancement of the world wide missions as they teach others, provide prayer support, give financial aid and meet special needs of missionaries. 

22. NEW MEMBERS - Plans a quarterly reception for new members, distributes and explains new member packets as needed.

23. BEREAVEMENT - Serves our members to help ease the pain of losing a loved one.

24. FINANCE - Directs our church-wide stewardship.

25. DEACONS - Ministers to and serves the staff and our members as needed.

26.  PROPERTY AND GROUNDS - Coordinates and maintains Beech Street’s physical property.

27. YOUTH:

  CAMPS - Help our students grow stronger in their faith and practice by separating them from the world and all that distracts and immersing them in Christian truth and a spiritual environment.

  DISCIPLE CLASS - Develops and deepens the student's devotion and service; using every means to assist them in their walk with Christ until they become disciple-making, world impacting followers of Jesus.

  FOCUS - Worship Arts for youth, including instruction, training, and opportunities to minister and lead worship both inside and outside our walls.

  LIFE IN THE LODGE - Wednesday night worship in the Lodge reaches out to students as we provide a non-threatening, creative worship experience.

  OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH - Monthly events giving students preferred memories and challenges to further develop their faith and followship.

  SMALL GROUPS - Connect our students and help in their growth and development.

  SUNDAY SCHOOL - Our church's foundational strategy for leading students to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and building on-mission Christians through open Bible study groups.

28. KLFI - 24-hour telecasting of worship services, Bible studies, special programs, and Family Net programs for the Texarkana community.  

29. Operation Christmas Child - a unique opportunity to be involved in a worldwide mission effort that reaches millions of children and families at Christmas time.

30. Weekday Early Education - quality education for preschoolers.

31. Mothers Day Out - twice a week opportunity for moms and dads to have a day out.

32. Men's Ministry - evangelistic events, dinners, and outings.

33. Art Ministry - The Beech Street Gallery, featuring art by Christians in our community and church.

34. FaithWorks - Sunday evening classes, events, worship services, fellowships, mission action, and the F.A. CAFE -- all designed to help fulfill all of the functions of an active New Testament church.
